At 2045 on March 30th, CTVFC along with Station 90 units were dispatched to Chen's on Brandt Drive for a reported kitchen fire. C21 arrived to see visible smoke and flames from the exterior of the structure, however no smoke or flames were visible in the kitchen. The restaurant was evacuated with the assistance of Cranberry PD. It was determined that the fire was in the exterior wall beneath the siding. Crews removed siding and extinguished the flames and soaked the are to ensure no additional fire. Preliminary investigation appears that an electrical line caught wood framing on fire.
