Congrats to the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company for the 2025 VFIS - Firefighter & EMS William Jenaway Illness & Injury Prevention Award at IAFC-VCOS Section Symposium in the Sun! Chief Garing traveled down to accept the award on behalf of the organization.

The award was given to the organization for our focus on a culture of safety through proficiency. We have deviated from the norm of risk avoidance and ultimately made a deliverable product that permits a safer fire ground for us and the folks that we serve. The 2023 completion of the startegic plan that was put in place in 2018 that modernized the organization on many fronts. The group was also recognized for the SAFER JOGs and everyone involved with their development, implementation, and execution.
