Today the CTVFC hosted the Western PA Career Chiefs Association for their quarterly training/meeting at the PSTC. The training revolved around batteries. It highlighted the problems, how to handle them when on fire, and what to do with them afterwards. We had the chance to watch several battery failures in a cage to see what type of reactions can occur. A program focusing on this type of training is being built by the PSFA.
