Last night the CTVFC conducted command simulation training in the firehouse. Students played the role of IC and the subsequent arriving units. All of them practiced onscene reports and JOG assignments as an engine or truck company. The IC and their aid ran each scenario from the vehicle and all communications took place over the radio.
Thank you to the officers and members for stepping out of their comfort zone last night and trying different roles and responsibilities. The team work and knowledge transfer to the newer people was obvious and observed. We are only as strong as our weakest link! 💪
