The 2023 Cadet Academy has ended, consisting of 5 days of education and practice among 17 students from various different areas! The Academy featured curriculum involving Engine, Truck, and Rescue company operations. Each student had the opportunity to get hands on and practice skills they will use in the fire service.
Additionally, each student was certified in CPR/First Aid thanks to Cranberry Township EMS! The week ended with roll in scenarios, which brought together all aspects of their training. Thank you to the students for taking this unique opportunity to learn and practice their skills, and the instructors for putting on such a unique program!
