E21, E21-2, and T21 arrived within minutes to find active alarm and odor of smoke. E21 stretched a line and identified the target apartment, followed by T21 who forced the door. The occupancy was filled with moderate amount of smoke caused by an unintended cooking fire which was quickly isolated. Quick response by the staffed crew of 9 allowed for a positive outcome with minimal damage!
