Just before 1500 on Tuesday, 21 and 51 units were alerted for a MVA with injuries. LT21-2 arrived on scene and confirmed 2 vehicles involved, one patient entrapped with minor injuries. Rescue 21 arrived shortly after and was able to insert an inside rescuer to continue an evaluation for EMS while the rest of the crew worked on removing the driver’s side door. Patient was safely extricated and care was turned over to EMS. Crews remained on scene for about an hour to assist in clean up and traffic control.
