Just after 1am the 1st & 2nd alarms were struck for a working fire in the twp. It was dispatched as a fire with multiple calls and all occupants out of the building. The police arrived on-scene within minutes of dispatch and confirmed heavy fire. E21-2 was staffed and quickly arrived with 3 and began deploying hand-lines and utilized their deck gun. Upon arriving C21 assumed the command and C21-2 assumed operations. The fire remained defensive throughout and the crews operated for several hours on scene and several hours after they returned cleaning 600 feet of 5inch, and 1100 feet of attack lines.

There were no injuries- fire started on the deck on the back from a charcoal grill.
