| For the third time in a little more than a week, the volunteers were battling another fire in the Township. This time the alarm rang in for a working barn fire just after 4PM, bringing mutual aid from Harmony Fire District (22) and Callery (19). A 2nd alarm was called, bringing Adams Area (42), Marshall Township (185) and Big Knob RIT (26). Crews battled the fire along with the cold temperatures and snow for several hours before clearing the scene. The barn was completely destroyed by the fire, but there were no injuries to any personnel or livestock. |
