Today the rescue and engine responded to assist EMS with a patient that was stuck outside on a collapsed wheelchair lift. Crews stabilized the platform due to potential collapse using cribbing, auto cribs, and sidewinder jacks. Crews then picked the patient up and moved her off the platform to warmth with EMS.
