At 19:20 hours, Stations 21 and 51 (EMS) were alerted to respond to a possible structure fire in the Park Place development in the Township. Police arrived on scene and advised there was smoke visible. Ladder 21, Engine 21-3, Tower 21 and Captain 21-2 responded with 15 volunteers, locating a small fire that started near the fireplace in the home. The crew from Ladder 21 located the source, quickly extinguishing the small fire and checking for extension into the area around it. The smoke was removed from the house and all crews returned into service just before 20:30.
