Structure Fire - Robinhood Drive

May 5, 2022

First due-2 alarm fire on Robinhood Drive. Around 2pm, volunteers were alerted for a house on fire and it was unknown if occupied. Command received multiple reports that led crews to believe the resident was inside the home. Engine 21-2 arrived within 6 minutes and advanced a hand line into the front door. They were met with the only path to the fire being blocked from floor to ceiling with large heavy items. Crews repositioned to the charlie side and made access through another doorway to get to the fire. Tower 21 with the assistance of mutual aid units conducted a thorough search through the cluttered home and confirmed there were no occupants inside. Crews located a cat in the living room and police took it to a local veterinarian. The second alarm was requested for man power when we discovered the home was extremely cluttered and overhaul would be extensive.
