Broken Sprinkler Pipe at Cardinal Wurl North Catholic High School

Crews from Station 21, Adams Area (42), Marshall Township (185) as well as Cranberry Township Police and EMS responded to a fire alarm with water flow at the North Catholic High School on Route 228 around 2:15 PM. CTVFC responded with a crew of 18 firefighters to the reported alarm, quickly locating a broken sprinkler pipe in top of a stairwell. Crews shut down the water and assisted the building staff with cleanup of the water condition in the building. Units were on scene for around 2 hours before clearing and returning into service.
