At 1816 this evening, Station 21 and 90 units were dispatched for a chimney fire in the Township. Additional calls confirmed fire showing from the roof of the home. Engine 21-2, Engine 42 and Ladder 42 were enroute in under 2 minutes from dispatch, arriving on scene in just under 8 minutes from dispatch time, followed by E21. Additional units assisting were Evans City, Harmony, Marshall, Callery and Big Knob. Big Knob and Harmony staffed our station, available to handle any additional calls for the 90 area while units were committed. Units were on scene for approximately 90 minutes. CTVFC is fortunate to be a part of an outstanding collaboration between these departments to ensure efficient, expeditious response to emergencies and tonight is proof of its success to preserve property and save lives!
