At 2204 on Thursday, July 2nd, CTVFC was called to assist with a residential structure fire in Mars Boro. Multiple call reported house on fire, confirmed by initial PD units on scene. Upon arrival, 42 command requested a 2nd alarm for additional resources. 21 crews were enroute with a fully staffed unit in under 4 minutes, with additional staff responding shortly after. 21 assisted with RIT duties and were activated when a mayday was called by a crew in the lower level. 21 crews were on scene for roughly two hours then covered for 42 units until they returned to service.
