Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Co. Wraps Up Record Year

January 2, 2019

Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Co. said goodbye to a record year for the CTVFC, with a total of 879 calls for the year. - 95 calls more than the department responded to in 2017. The 879 calls equated to almost 500 response hours and 4,766 man hours. In addition, our members completed 3,403 training hours, comprised of 2,363 hours of in-house training and 1,040 hours of external training. CTVFC is excited for the changes and many new things to come in 2019 with the completion of our Route 19 "Park" station addition, expansion of our Associate Membership and bunk-in program, delivery of two new engines by mid-year, with our new tower expected in early 2020, and other new ventures to improve our training and operations. As always, we are looking for interested volunteers! Please visit the Become a Member page of our website for additional information!
