The Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Compnay's Fire and Safety Education program has once again been recognized for excellence by the Western PA Firemen's Association with a 1st place award among programs in Western PA. The program, led by Chris DeCree and is trusty sidekick Jack Carney, were on hand to received their award from the WPFA last month. In addition, the program has also received a 3rd place award from the Firemen's Association of the State of Pennsylvania from all programs in the entire state that serve communities with a population over 10,000. Chris, Jack, and their committee work tirelessly to protect residents of all ages in our communities through safety and prevention education. With a state of the art Fire Safety House, fire extinguisher simulator and an excellent training program, they work with schools, children's groups, special needs, elderly and businesses to provide life safety education.
