Park Station Ground Breaking

April 6, 2018

The members of Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company, along with the leadership from the Township, gathered on a cold and blustery April evening to ceremoniously break ground for the new addition to the Route 19 "Park" Fire Station. The Township recently approved contracts for an addition to the Park Station that will include additional administrative office space, bunk-in quarters, a fitness facility, and work areas for our members. The contracts also include other improvements to the existing Park Station facility and to the Haine School Road Fire Station. As the Township plans for future development in the coming decade, the Fire Company, in conjunction with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services and Cranberry Township, are ensuring the resources to meet the growing demand on public safety are in place. 2107 saw an 8.6% increase in calls over the previous year, and so far for the first quarter of 2018, we have seen a 36% increase over first quarter of 2017. The Fire Company looks forward to the growth and is grateful for the support of Cranberry Township.
