Brush fire season

At 19:32 crews were alerted to a smoke investigation off of Hope Road in Cranberry Township. Chief 21 responded to find a brush fire that swept along a bank near a home and garage. Crews were able to contain the spread with a forestry line pulled off of Brush 21.

A reminder to residents: Western Pennsylvania is experiencing a low dew point. This is the second brush fire reported in less than 48 hours. Please limit outside burning activities during this season, and remember to consult the township burning codes.
