At 3:55pm, CTVFC was dispatched to a reported vehicle crash with injuries on Marshall Road near Garvin Road. Shortly after dispatch, Cranberry PD arrived and advised incoming fire and EMS that there was one patient trapped in the vehicle who would need to be extricated. Chief 21 and Engine 21-2 immediately started extrication, removing the driver who was transported by Cranberry Township EMS. Units operated on-scene for 45 minutes before returning to service.
