Cranberry Station 21 was dispatched last evening at 4:41 PM for a fuel spill in the Route 228 mall parking lot in front of TJ Maxx.

Rescue 21 and Engine 21-3 both responded with a crew of three along with Chief Rice, Assistant Chief Clutter, and fire police.

Crews controlled the scene and provided protection from a possible fire until the vehicle leaking fluid was transported by a local towing agency.

Units were on scene an hour and a half before returning in service.
