At last evening's monthly company meeting, our members voted to fill two newly created line officer positions within our organization.

Congratulations to Lt. Shaun Prouty and Lt. Nunzio Martin.

Lt. Prouty has been a member of our department since 2014, but is no stranger to firefighting. He has served with the United States Air Force in firefighting positions for over 15 years, is certified as a Fire Officer III, and now serves as a recruiter for the United States Air Force.

Lt. Martin has been a member of the department since 2013. He is a database administrator with a local company that allows him to run calls during the day, and he also manages the CTVFC website. (He did not write this story however!)

Congratulations to both Lt. Prouty and Lt. Martin as they take on additional responsibilities with our organization!
